Thats just the point though.

They didnt take the time to themselves for refreshments, they decided to pull a riot van up next to a hill and use police property to go sledging down a hill in uniform.

Not only were they stupid enough to do it with people about, they let themselves get filmed doing it.

We all know that whatever gets filmed these days has a really strong chance of ending up on the internet somewhere

Or they were in pursuit of a suspect and used the shield to chase him down and apprehended him more quickly.

We should be honouring him for using his initiative.

Put yourselves in the position of the Super - he had to say something to the Officers after it was brought to his attention. He couldn't exactly ignore a video posted on YouTube for the whole world (inc. his his bosses ), could he?
