aye, it took me under an hour start to finish and all i had was a junior hacksaw

Went out yesterday and found one of the (few) downsides to such a light bike - being blown all over the road! The a64 was a nightmare.

BTW anyone else around York getting fraustrated at the dumbing down of speed limits? The road from Earswick to Strensall (about a mile or so, dead straight, was a 60....) is now a 40 all the way, this in addition to the 1079 now being a 50 pretty much all the way. Rediculous!

Bloody annoying!

Theres plenty of roads that for safe drivers would be fine at a 70 limit but because one or two morons have crashed on em they've slapped 50/40 limits on em.

I swear this nanny state wont be happy until we all drive at 30mph in one brand of car which has 12bhp!

As for being blown about, yea it can be abit annoying but all in all you learn to love with it. (dont go down the m64 blackburn to preston thats a ******* for cross winds :P)

b1363 from clifton moor to helmsley then the b1257 out the north side up to stokesly is my favorite bit of road in yorkshire not too damaged and plenty of national speed limits

I passed the 250 mile mark this morning on the way to work, should have it mostly run in by the ride out! If the beautiful british weather doesn't sabotage me......

yo rob, me and Yorkie Jones from on here went out yesterday as well - did about 180 miles around north york moors/yorkshire dales and then ended up finishing at squires.

Will prolly be going out again through the week/next weekend if the weather's good.. wonder if any of the Pennine massive will be at squires on wednesday?
