916!
if not that something that has enough power to amuse me but wont kill me and i like something that looks good and can be modded to my hearts content, but then again if its rideable (2 wheels and an engine) and goes id be happy to have it rather than not.

I daren't comment, aside from saying looks weren't a priority when I went looking at new bikes last February.

The biggest tick for me is handling, a bike with sweet handling gets me out of bother

Dunno!

I'd quite like a daytona 1200, if they weren't such a big fookin lump of a thing.
Speed triple T309 a definite possibility.
Speed triple T509 another one, just complexity puts me off.
GS1000, rather like these, just don't fancy buying a money pit as they handle like a bent wheelbarrow.
Flat barred GSXR750 slingshot. Cliched post-crash streetfighter. Probably my next bike. Maybe a rat one. Or another SRAD... just not a waterboiler slingshot.

I've ridden near every model of GSXR 600 and haven't felt particularly interested in it, even if they go like buggery (except the original one, which is a dog) and handle fine (except the original one, which...)
675, lovely, bit small, but cracking engine, brakes. Handles good.
GSXR1000, scared the living bollox off of me every time I looked at the throttle. Cool, but not for me.
SV1000, great bike, lovely engine, handles ok.

The new stuff, despite being superior in pretty much every way, don't do owt for me. I'll let you know when I can put my finger on why. But having ridden "better" bikes I come back to actually wanting the "worse" ones. F*ck it, what ticks my boxes is something that puts a grin on yer grid Let the people who want to play top trumps get on with it.

Just how mean and sexy my B1H is the shear power and handling, just awesome.

Commuting into London, so sadly for me it's a bike that I'm not too bothered about getting dented and scratched. 2 Bandits and my current SV have all fit this bill admirably, cheap insurance is a plus too.

If I wasn't commuting the bike that would hit the mark closest for me would be a ST 1050 I guess.

I'd love to own any of the following:

Honda VTR SP-2
BMW S1000RR
MV Agusta F4
Aprillia RSV-4.
Ducati 1198 R Corse!

The most likely I'll ever own is probably the SP-2 as there are fairly nice examples for £4-5k.
+1, although I would add the new R1 (in black and gold, with akrapovics) to that list.

Think my next bike is either guna be a kwak zx9 or bmw k12s. fast, roomy, comfortable, some touring ability, fairly reliable. those are my boxes at the moment.

Anything that sounds good handles well and can do mileage im happy with. Not bothered about IL4 screamers as im sure you all know (only IL4 I like is the 09-10 R1 odd firing), love V2's and like V4's. Singles are cool but not really any that I like the look of.

Of course I like a pretty bike.

One thing I love about the falco is that you will rarely see another. Very rare!

but the one thing that gives me the greatest buzz is having and knowing I have a bike* sat outside and can at anytime just jump on it and ride.
+1

However, at some point, I MUST own a Ducati 916; penny saving will start once my lad has stopped costing a fortune on nursery fees. I know it will probably be uncomfortable, unreliable and no-where near as good as the dream, but while I have always loved bikes, it was the first bike I saw that made me think 'how the hell did someone make a machine look so damn good?' Just a stunning piece of design. With the exception perhaps of the rear lights and wheels, I think if it was bought out today it would not look dated.
