Women at work........

A) I would prefer more women at work.

B) Some issues with them would be fine, if there were some women. Help me.

I work in a marketing dept so there are LOADS of women, and actually I find everyone to be really nice, friendly and supportive. There are a couple of very senior women in the company who are really hard nosed and you deffo wouldn't want to get on their bad side, but there are at least as many knobhead senior guys as well.

My main problem is that all the women on my floor there's less space for attractive eye-candy to help the day pass by

i am fairly new in the back to work stakes. I work in a garage on a sunday, all guys - no problem except a few of them keep staring at my cleavage when talkin to me. My other job is as a receptionist in pre assessment dept of local hospital, loads of nurses. they are a wild bunch, very sarcastic but not at all bitchy. only problem I have had at work was when I was 16 and office junior in a local solicitors. main woman was horrible to me for weeks. I eventually exploded and asked what her f***in problem was and walk out. boss came to my house that night as asked me to come back next day. I did and she was fine with me ever since. Life is too short to allow people to make you miserable at work.

And why is that a problem?

Wear a T shirt that says, "look me in the eyes and stop staring at my tits", in small unobtrusive letters where a breast badge would normally be, so that they don't notice it until they are actually staring at your tits.

i am yet to reply properyl to this but i will i really will i love the hot pics pmsl ha he he he he my kind of work hehe he he he but i will type my ranting essay very sooon watch this space..........!!!

right ok so i never really got round to posting and things have calmed down a little thank god but thank you for replying coz i thought i was going mad !! in a nutsheel ( not very good at shelling nuts, well some nuts i am ... annyway !) in a nutsheel the bunch if s****s i work with all be it only three main ring leaders just seemed to go out their way to make my life misery they really did - its so hard to actually quantify as the little fooookers so it so subtly and more annoying a lot of blokes NOT ALL don't pick up on this kind of thing making the woman feel i'm even more of a fruitcake ! thank god the men i know DO understand this - but they were just doing little things obviously talking about me when i walked in clearly not best pleased i have joined the team telling me how to suck eggs and so on and so on but all very subtle - shoving nasty little pieces of work my way that they can't be ased to deal with etc but it would seem i'm not bad at my new job after all and they seeem to be taking more leaves out of my book now !!! i mean ffs telling ME how to talk to a customer is like telling rossi how to ride a bike its something i pride myself on being good at and funny that they seem to have a lot of angry customers but it seems a lot of mine i have eating out of my hand now ! so its all ok ish for now ........... couldn't wait to cancel my place on their rubbish xmas do no way i wanna be sat with a load of physchos pretending to pull a cracker when what i wanna do is smack them in the mouth with one !!! lol !! so thanks for listening and being there u guys !!! i WILL find a job where iu can work with men ! its the only way forward !!! apart from the slight glitch that I can't seem to do a lot of 'bloke type' jobs ... Verna, sorry to hear you are having such a horrid time with your work colleges.

Sometimes though even when you feel you want to smack them, a night out when they aren’t in the work environment might reveal a side to someone that you hadn’t seen before and like. I know you feel that you can’t stand going out for a social time with them, but it may turn out that you can use the evening to your advantage and have something to be able to bring you together and work better together in the future.

I think women at work bring allot to the table, generally a balanced team will bring great qualities and compliment each other’s assets. I don’t think it is restricted to a gender thing should this not happen.

Eugh - seen some awful male bitching this week - I was fairly oblivious. Thought that chaps had a set instead of festering actually said something - how wrong I was! Made me sick to my stomach all day - i didn't eat (which is like my favourite-est thing ever).
Think I'm over it now, wish I hadn't seen what I saw....
