Are you freelancing or do you intend to sign with an agency?

Sticks 'n' Rags or Stinkpots ?

Best of luck - & have a GREAT time
Looking for a permanent position at the bottom, intend to have some fun and sail around a bit to see where it takes me in terms of extending it into a career, I've signed up to a bunch of agencies in Antibes but tbh I'm not expecting much - they'll have hundreds of new crew on their books...

Dream job would be on a big sailing yacht, something like Red Dragon or the Maltese Falcon, something very graceful about the really big sail boats.

But the reality is if there's work going I'll be taking it...

well it is an off road bike and with me constantly breaking myself, it will spend most of the time in my lounge which by definition is off road

No idea at the moment, might be a summer or two or could be permanent depending on how it works out

Go for it. I wish I'd had the guts to break the mould and do something completely different. And now, well past 40, I look back and think 'I wish'.
Well done you.

You're going to have a blast Mark. I spent 6 months in the Canaries when I was in my early/mid twenties and it was one of the best times.

If you end up in NZ at any point - give me a shout. I have a load of friends and some family there...

Keep us all up-to-date on your movements.
