As much as I like the guy, I didn't particularly like his comments.

Well... there was a tiny chance that Rossi could make it stick... but it went wrong. But compare that to the moto2 crash when Marquez was taken out. The other guy wasn't even trying to overtake him and he send them both off the track.
I though that despite it being a worse incident, it was handled way better after the race.

Although the Cluzel/Marquez incident looked at first glance a sheer ram raid from behind it was more than that. Cluzel lost grip by touching the blue and white "piano" as the spanish call them. This unsettled his bike and he lost all chances of braking.

But anyway,

As far as the move went, nothing wrong with it. This stuff happens, it's MotoGP racing not flower arranging.

The difference between a genius pass and binning it is jack all. Good on him for trying. To be honest, who the hell are we to question the racing judgement of a 9 times world champion?
We have every right to pass comment. In your world only Giacomo Agostini and Angel Nieto should ever pass a comment related to bike racing!

I didnt say that you had no right, I was questioning our relative judgement on the subject when compared to Valentino Rossi.

"Hey Vale, you dont want to do it like that. here's what you should've done"
