LOL .. I dont think that he's ever done a bike safe course, do you ?
Despite what it says at the beginning, it sure dont look like 170 mph on the road to me .. maybe 170 kmh ..? And an Evo 8 GQ 320 tops out at a bit less than 160 mph, not 181 ... But as always, I stand to be corrected ...

Agree. Some of the suspension effects seem to happen in Benny Hill time, and if he was passing cars at more than 100mph above their speed it would not be quite so leisurely as it looks in the video.

Weather it's speeded up, speedo altered or whatever, he's still got far bigger balls than I'll ever have!

BlueFish, if only I could ride half that good!

Apparently the rider never got caught.

I can't find the story, but I know of a cop (not a traffic cop - off duty) who crashed his bike whilst riding inappropriately, killed a pedestrian.

I didn't see any pedestrians on the youtube vid, not like he was doing his wheelie attempts outside a school at 3pm...

Fast, but not particularly shocking. Apart from the obvious illegalities around speed and white lines, and one poorly judged overtake on the approach to a junction, that's not actually that impressive. Could do with tidying up his lines so that he positions for view rather than his ego, but there is far worse out there.

Oh, and I'm pretty sure the speedo on a GSXR is off the front sprocket, drop it a tooth or two and you get more wheelies (plenty of them on show) and dodgy figures to try and impress your mates with....which is why the gear indicator, rev counter and speedo still match up. It's just the scenery that's moving at the wrong speed.

Definitely something wrong with his figures. If he was doing the speeds claimed, the cars coming the other way would have had a closing speed of over 200mph. Which they didn't. And videos like that usually make stuff look faster than it is because of the foreshortening effects of the camera and the fact that you can't see everything the rider can see. It shouldn't look slower.

When I first had the SV, the sensor was out of whack and my speedo read exactly double what I was actually doing. Wish I'd strapped a camera on now...

I've nearly been had off by some p*ssed idiot staggering into the road when going through town early in a morning. Do you know more and was he riding like a feckwit?
