What a waste. Work them to death to get some benefit out of them in some way. As long as slacking involves a LOT of pain they will keep going until they drop for good. Get them cleaning up nuclear waste perhaps, with the incentive of some protective gear if they work hard/quick enough (failing to hand any over of course). Have them clean the outside of a submarine, while wearing heavy boots for health and safety, and forget to take them in before the sub dives. Chain gangs linked to tasers/cattle prods or those dog collars that shock, clearing litter from both sides of a train line (you can see where this is going). And so on.

If any tree huggers complain add them to the list of "attendees".

Jail time in this country is a joke. Sentences are a joke. WHY do criminals get to serve only Half of their sentence?
Bleedin heart do gooders....... Make sentences stick, make sentences punishment, NOT rehabilitation, (that can come later) after the CRIMINAL has paid for his/her crime. OK the jails may be very full for a while, but when reallity of conseqence to actions is proven to be harsh, then the crime rate will drop.

Terry.

Drop rocks on their heads. There's nothing inside to damage.

When I was coming home from the pub a few weeks ago with the missus there were three of them tipping over our bin (empty) and kicking it down the street. One then flailed past us, hands open, grabbing me on the thigh as he passed and muttering "Oooh, gay c***". They disappeared down the street looking for other things to kick or break.

I mean, I was 13 once, and would never have dreamt of doing that to a complete stranger who was nearly twice my size. I'd have loved to have stuffed him into the bin, upside down, and thrown him in the nearby river.
