GWS.

Did the same a few years back, got off lightly - broke the collarbone, no bionicness needed.

I kind of ignored their "keep it in a sling" thing (I was back at work 3 days later) and used it as much as was comfortable, which meant that I didnt lose movement or too much muscle tone, so didnt need physio after it was mended.

Sleeping is the worst of it, unless you like sleeping sitting up anyway

Done the collar bone last year along with the shoulder blade. I've been told I need to "learn how to crash properly". Don't think I want to be practising that to be honest.
GWS mate

cheers for the get wells folks it is very very much apprecited. im very lucky in that the missus has looked after me so i see her bedside mannner costing me a week in the sun at a later date :0).

off to fracture clinic tom to see what they are doing with me. it does smite though but i think most of that is from me previously taking the pee from dave prestons misshap while i would like to have said this happened at 120mph im guessing it didnt but in all honesty i have no idea what happened at all. I was found in an industral estate in elland after i went to warm the bike up and get petrol bu some fella who called my lass and an ambulance. he then dissapeared so i cant even say thanks.... ive taken a right old wallop to the head (still quite confused but im pretty sure ive paid my debts before it starts ) and the bike was in the middle of the road about 150 yards away. Police tbh have been really good. huddersfield shift in the morning equally so. guess ive just got to sit it out now.

bikes looking ok footpeg, exhaust lights etc but no paintwork and the crash bung obviously worked.called in carol nash to sort it all out so we shall see how things progress. i get the feeling there will be a bit of stuff for sale once its resolved though!

oh well.....
