Yeah, just a bit! Yep got the new set on. Will know if we've done a good job after a few thousand miles. If the chain is still on and the split link hasn't got all tight, happy days! Now I just need an inflated rear tyre.

riveted link you mean? hope you've not put a split link/circlip link on! Air in tyres is over rated, you now have the maximum contact patch possible

That's what I meant! Well, riveted we hope! Will find out if my legs get flayed off at 100mph.

you'll be faster with no legs, less weight. Will need to have a hand shifter for the gears though, attach your walking stick to the pedal

Stop worrying you poof, my bodging skills are legendary, those rivets are tighter than a jock in a pub, and your chain is about as stiff as an aroused octogenarian!

you know that the rivets don't need to be tight. All they do is hold the side plate on, so need a good rounded head on them. If they're too tight they'll cause premature failure of the O ring seals

I was waiting for that, yes I know, been doing this since before you had a scooter, head squished nicely that side plate aint going nowhere, and the link itself moves looser than a dutch pro's undergarments!
