for the price i would say they are a good bike. if suzuki were to upgrade the suspension on them then they would indeed be cracking bikes but in standard guise i would say they are good.

things like the on/off throttle can be sorted and smoothed out on the later bikes.

£7.5k for street and £4.5k for SV of course the street is going to be a better bike.

I would highly Recommend the Sv! I recently passed my mod 2 a few weeks ago and i have loved riding mine. As for your issues with going from a ybr i went from a 50cc straight to the Sv, I've had no issues in riding it at all. Its nice to ride (mines restricted and it has plenty of power), its not to heavy and it sounds great!

A striple is nowhere near as forgiving. And good luck with insurance.
