She's a dog that was offered to GMP as a sniffer dog, but wasn't suitable. One of the dog handlers let me know about her as she's at a rescue centre, having been dumped. Not exactly designer, more a market special, "of course it's real, guv'nor"

I've not done enough UK diving (or deco diving) this year to be fit for Scapa. But Loch Fyne could be tempting.

Excellent open fire you can sit by and glug a bottle and a half of malt by too ... #hic#

And you get air fills from a fire engine bet you don't get that anywhere else
I'm up for that but I won't be donning a drysuit. I dive for pleasure not for pain. I want warm clear waters, blue skies, pretty fishies and to go and lie in the sun afterwards.

Nope, I worked very hard for a long few years on day and nightshifts and a LOT of overtime to pay for it. Mr VT is going to bling it up for me from our van that we took to the AR in Wales. So far it's cost me £1300 for the stuff to convert it and hopefully that will be it. We are going to use one of the partitions out of the 18 tonner so I'm guessing other than an awesome paint job, that's it.

You should see some of the 'horsey types'. I went to the Dressage Convention at Hartpury College this weekend and met Carl Hester, had my books etc signed by him and chatted to him about my horses. Also watched the Olympic Champs Charlotte and Valegro do some dressage. Now Dressage Divas....there's some cash to splash. WOW!!

Rather grummage about inside a wreck, by the time you get back on the boat you've got silt and rust embedded in the 1st stages, scrapes down the paint in tanks, drysuit covered in silt and oil and a grin from ear to ear

If I wanted to go shallow and look at fish I'd save the baggage charges and just take a snorkel

Tbf, if I was to take up diving it would be for these reasons. Cold, murky waters ain't my idea of fun. Although I understand visibility isn't always that bad over here but the fact still remains, it's too bloody cold!

Oh no thanks I've done quite a few wreck dives and they were all spectacular, lots of corals, fish and things to see with good visibility and warm water. I want to do the Thistlegorm next year.

Who said shallow?
Although there is nothing wrong with floating around with a mask and snorkel while you are waiting for your lunch!
