I bought a lecky one just to trim it up. Small and light
So it's clean of oil.
It's the next doors tree.
The copper nail idea sounds like a long term solution

The price of copper these days it's probably cheaper to pay a tree surgeon. I kept hoping the cats would climb the tree, they are so huge it would snap off a couple of branches and save me a fortune.

In my case in there own garden as the fence (that's their responsibility) always fell into there garden letting there little ****e dog into my garden.
Gave up asking them to fix it and put up my own fence
