Congestion Charge for bikes?

Had a chat with my sister on Friday, who works for a major transport consultant involved with London Transport... she says the Evening Standard thing was total scaremongering and they'd have a lengthy consultation period before they looked at doing the C-charge for bikes, which there simply hasn't been and there's never been mention of it since they first brought it in and decided against it... so even if they did look at bringing it in for bikes, we'd all know about it well in advance as they'd be approaching large sections of the biking community to guage reaction.
