Sorry, this ones my current knackered chain, i'm as far back as the adjustes will go and it's still sloppy, i'm an idiot for letting it get this way and ignoring it

Well time to replace chain and sprockets then, you can now choose exactly how you want your bike geared.

As for the chain being loose, well just take it easy. If there are any seriously bad tight spots/bad links then you should be concerned.

But just for the record, you have fully loosened off the back wheel, and then adjusted properly? - just that it's rare that there's no adjustment left at all. How many miles has the chain done?

pass, next question, the good news is that the whole chain is slack

i'll be fitting the new one myself, so i'll take pics of this one to teach some newbs what not to do

Ok, got them ordered from Raceways in Fleetwood, should be here mid next week, so only gonna be riding my bike if i really have to, my dad's ZZR needs a good run anyway

then we'll be back in business, with a new 14tooth front woohoo
