As soon as we left the lights we pulled the bikes over, my mate hobbling really badly to check his foot, and then to our amazement the guy in the van sped away !!!. My mate was having none of this so hopped (pardon the pun) back on his bike adrenelin racing caught up with the guy pulled in front of him and forced him to stop. The guy was furious and couldnt see what he had done wrong and refused to exchange details despite me telling him that it was still an incident even if neither vehicle was damaged. So we took a piccy of his number plate and reported him to the police. My question is to Fraser will they do anything, I am happy to be a witness for my mate.
Who knows

It fits the criteria, but the best advice i can give is that your mate should call the police to find out whats happening, you should have a incident number so you should be able to find out by quoting that.

Mistakes that cause accidents need to be punished, but it could have been a genuine mistake, and we are all aware that its a risk we take!

again, not defending but lets not all jump on the band wagon with everyone who makes a mistake eh?
sorry al, but it takes 2 minites to make sure someone is ok, even if you are in the wrong. she clearly didn't learn her lesson and thankfully fraser was there to teach her one
Jen,

I did later state that i agree she very much is in the wrong, and i am not sticking up for her,

but mistakes to happen and im very pleased in this case no one was hurt,

may i actually point out i am one of the few on here that has actualy t boned a car, and despite it hurting and causeing me issues, i can now look back and say hey, **** happens, life must go on....

pleased no one was hurt, and apologies if i didnt seem sympathetic enough, i am i promise, but as a majority cage driver now, i find it difficult to always see the bikers side of things, in this case i do,

i know for a fact if i pulled out infront of you, made you take evasive action, but i stopped and said sorry, you would still be up im fecking arms, and quite rightly, but lets put it in perspective, a mistake would have been made, and no one was hurt, i would have said sorry but it would have made no difference to the bikers attitude.

Ho hum, life goes on ...

Once could have been a mistake, twice shows lack of care/concentration and complete unawareness of the rules of the road and other traffic.

Fraser01 was right to "educate" her as third time could have been unlucky for someone.

Similar thing happened to me last night on the A48 into coming into Cardiff. Woman in a Zafira pulls onto the carriageway in front of me from the slip road. Not only did she not look in he offside mirror, she was actually chatting to her mate in the passenger seat whilst pointing with her left arm at something in the distance to their left.

I was doing 70mph (honest I was, Fraser01 ) on the bike. Funny how you get a premonition about these things and I'd left myself an escape route into the offside lane.............

Part of using the roads these days, it seems to me
