Thanks Guys

I've only just got back Falc's in a London hospital and we've had a nightmare getting in and out

he's broken seven ribs down hi right side were the truck hit him he's also got a bruised lung they are keeping him for observation and probably for upto two weeks although we hope he will be out alot sooner he's very down as to be expected and is on morphine for the pain and oxygen to help his breathing, other than that he will be OK.

He's angry at the truck driver that didn't see him the bike is at his work place so we have to get that back some how if someone has a trailer we can borrow for a day that would be useful.

Thanks for all the support guys xx

Sh*t, that's really not good, but it looks like it's all "fixable".

Send him my best wishes, and take it easy yourself.

As long as his insides aren't trying to be outside then it sounds like he'll do fine.

How bad is the bike?

I've got a small Erde trailer, it's sitting in my back garden pretending to be a bird table or other such garden ornament...

... but I do mean small. There's no way it would safely take a bike upright, but down on it's side, well strapped in - it should manage for a rough recovery.

As I say, not the best of options but if it beats forking out to hire one you're more than welcome to borrow it. Much as I'd like to bring it down to you the MG is off the road and that's my only vehicle with a towbar - so you would have to collect I'm afraid, but I'd chuck you some petrol money for the journey and to bring it back again.

Just PM if you need it.
