Default Re: Teenagers

Is anybody on this fine site. Aged between 17- 23, with a reasonably new SV650S

My insurance is due for renewal next week. I have a claim for theft and I'm worried my renewal premium is going to be high.

It would help me greatly if you could tell me who you are insured with and which company. That way I can get some idea of how much this is likely to cost.

Seriously if you want help, please dont use text speak nobody on here as we are all old gits will understand what on earth you're talking about
age = 21
Claims = 2 fault claims - hit 3rd party. 1 non fault claim. 1 theft - no payment made...policy was 3pft
No Claims: None
Bike = SV650s K3
Mods: exhaust, tail tidy, r&g's, fender extender, Double Bubble screen.
Insurance company = ebike
cost = £110 a month
it is important to note i have a pay as you go monthly policy. My quote for the year on a 12 month policy was £980ish about 5 months ago

hope this helps
Paul

24 years old, garage, live in a quiet area, 0 no claims, no experience, only passed test a few months ago, £395 Fully comp with Autonet insurance (including legal & breakdown) & do 24,000 miles/year minimum.

Quote lowered by 1) alarm/immobiliser 2) GSM tracker (old PAYG phone under pillion seat) 3) not being insured to take pillions (top tip - remove pillion footpegs & declare to insurance co!)

Nothing to be surprised about here - they just didn't want to insure you, but you didn't fulfill the criteria that would allow them to refuse you insurance.

Ridersure (Roadsure?) are clearly happy to take the risk.
