Good to see you all - great track apart from the back straight which is too long for an SV

- Andy - thanks again for coming over to try and help out with the flat on Mon night - much appriciated, and we're only in early October so I reckon there's at least one more track day to get in before the snows start

Can anyone hazard a guess what speed an SV would reach on that then?

no problem, I don't think my curvy front wheel would have fitted on your pointy anyway. you got there in the end & only missed a couple of sessions

btw - if you look in your toolkit you might find an adaptor for the spindle bolt

I was getting 130-135ish - into 6th on standard 15/44 gearing. there was a bit more to come, but then the straight got un-straight

Had the speedo taped up, but the tacho was on 9,000-10,000 rpm in top so I'm guessing 120-125 mph.

Pretty much all of the sportbikes made you feel like you were coasting down the straights! Different story in the corners though!

I was only managing about 115 on the back straight, combination of slower exit speed on the corner in and braking distance I guess.

I was flat out in top, just off the limiter when I was on my own … that’s 135-140 with my 14/44 sporcket combo.

I was pretty much flat out going through the fast left kink just before ‘bridge’ probably ~130 through there. Probably not far off that down the start finish either … oh and also just before ‘maggots’. So there are plenty of places to stretch the SVs legs

same as Luke for me - flat out but taped the speedo up :P

Flat out on the left kink before the bridge is a fun place to overtake
