That made me smile. How did you miss all the signals?

Short term measure(long term for me) is to use some black electrical insulation tape across the top of the visor.

I think I may have said that it's dangerous. I wouldn't have flamed you though. I nearly lost an eye after my off. Thing is now I can't get a dark visor for my Caberg so have no choice but to wear sunnies. Believe me I'd rather not but not seeing is also a wee bit dangerous. I might even resort to my old roof lid which has a nice dark visor.

Yes, a friend of mine does this, I keep meaning to try it, because although the inner visor of my V2 is great, it still doesn't block the low sun, and as the aperture of the visor is so wide (on all helmets), putting the tape across should allow me to block out the sun without having to stare at the tank and get a bad neck .

In the 'good old days', visors for full face helmets had three studs across the top so you could attach a peak! I never saw anyone using one like that. Wonder why?

i was (trying to) take the **** out of our silly visor tinting laws i had an off with plastic glasses- was going downhill on gravel in t shirt- shorts - no helmet. The glasses got embedded in my eyebrow, i had to ride myself to the hospital with hands and knees full of gravel and blood trickling in my eye. Not pleasant! But it taught me the lesson about leathers and i definately wouldn't wear sunglasses (this was before i saw the man whos forehead was skinned). Has anyone tried those stick on sun shields?[/img]
wear sunglasses instead! its safer - you'll be able to remove them easily if you go in a tunnel unlike those visors which have tricky flip up mechanisms!
I get it know, but we're all a bit thick - you need to lay it on a bit more with a trowel.
