I don't know, but I just went and bought a new Sony laptop. And a mobile phone the size of a shoebox.

I thought it was very good. Not at all like a Bond film, mind, but that's not all bad. The poker scenes I thought were superb...

Sebastien Foucan stole the show though. Til he got dead.

I saw it on Friday and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. No massively unbelievable CGI or over-reliance on gadgets. It seems to be based at the start of Bond's career and he doesn't really feel like bond till about half way through (not unlike last year's "Batman Begins"). It is fairly long, there were at least 3 times before the end where I thought it was finishing!

Overall I'd give it 8/10.

Casino Royale was the first of Ian Flemings Bond books, hence why its at the start of Bonds career.

JUst seen the video for the Bond theme song which has loads of clips in, looks awesome, can't wait to see it.

Don't think Daniel Craig will be as good as the leg end that is Mr Connery though!

I think the comparisons to Batman Begins is pretty apt. I was thinking that while watching CR myself. Maybe they could re-make all the Bond flicks keeping them more in touch with the Fleming books and the 21st century. No more invisible cars or watches with lasers, which we all know HMSS could not afford anyway!

A return to a good plot and realistic storylines sounds promising. The amount of CGI in the last film was very poor and imo made it the worst bond to date.

Just watching On Her Majesty's Secret Service. Kojak was the best Blofeld.

I saw it on friday. I thought it was excellent. More of a plot, good acting, the stunts where 'real' lots of action, and only a couple of cheesy lines. Not many women either!! Need to go and watch it again as well....which is unusual for a bond movie.

Was long as well, 2hr 30!

Ah, that explains it. As Razor said, I got the impression from the ending they were setting it up for several more Bond films in this style.

I read today that the next Bond will be a continuation of CR, they're currently calling it "Bond 22" and release date is set for November 2008.
