In my opinion Queen are mostly liked by people who don't really know what music they like.

I personally completely disagree there. There any many more innovative and versatile bands, they're just not always good or mainstream enough to come to the attention of most people.

As for the topic, err, probably White Rabbit - Jefferson Airplane (was it airplane?) I reckon most will have heard it and will then turn to me and ask what it is.

A mate of mine was at a RATM gig in Christiana, in Copenhagen. Christiana is a sort of fortified island in the center of Copenhagen, that was occupied by hippies and anarchists in the 60s or something and now claims to be its own country, cops dont really go there, and most people grow weed in their front gardens.

So, Rage set up the gig, the local plod doned their riot gear, stormed the island and total pandemonium ensued with water cannons etc while the band played their set, delighted with them selves.

According to my mate, if you are ever going to be in a massive pitched riot, having Rage Against the Machine play soundtrack is more or less as much as you could ask.

He didn't mention one genre. I like Queen and I think you'd have a very hard time tying me down to one genre, but I could (and have) talk(ed) for hours about the various stuff I do like.
