We're not all super duper extra fast maniacs you know... There will be 2 'Blades, a 'Busa, a Speed Trip and an SV Thou', plus K, Stu and Jdubya.

They'll be too many of us to go too fast, and we all want to get up there in one piece. Saturday may be a little different, but Friday will just be "brisk".

we can ride on friday night (as its light till late, for those more local riders ) saturday the main rideout (whatever speed you want to ride, within reason of course) sunday a more scenic rideout for those that want it before we all go our seperate ways again

the saturday ride will i hope work as it did last year (quick group) (medium group) ( scenic bimbling group) just make sure when i post the route that you print yourself a copy and keep it handy on your tank it worked quite well last year (apart from me sending everyone right, 1 junction to early )

but as the fuelling stops and the like ! were clearly defined everyone managed to regroup nicely

can't understand the no socialising bit though steve we did have social chinwagging and a 320 mile run last year without too many issues and this year you want a shorter run ? so there should in effect be more time for gassing .

That was just a reference to some "ride outs" that tend to be more of a social gathering and less of a rubber burning exercise.

And I don't get much chance to ride decent roads in this country, so when I do, I'd rather be on me bike than drinking tea..... But I don't mind the odd stop here and there so Quiff can get his camera out....

phew- was just getting into the mindset of no talkin!!.... NO CAMERA TOO an I would have had a breakdown.

no. serious I know this is a ride ride ride weekend.. so be it..

and I do appreciate you southerners cant BUY good roads or you would get yer credit cards out...

so the only option is to come up to the best places in the UK where the nicest folk are.. only thing is we are real real friendly up here as well with the best roads too.. and if you have to make a choice then the roads win every time ... shame - if you had good roads down south and coupled with the unsociable people then you could ride and not have socialise at all - it would be perfect for you all.

i belive i read a sleeping bag is needed? what about towels?

apart from clothes ......any thing else?
