I'm with you Bear! Mass kidnap thread needed!!

Do you think the route is ok?
I'll look at it again to try and break up the long A1/A1M strech with some twisty stuff if needed. I just thought that, as you did, it gets us up most of the way without too much fuss.

As I cant seem to get anyone from East Anglia interested - would you mind if an ex-SV owner met you where the A14 meets the A1(M) for the ride ooop north? I would really like to come!

Tempting - I will have to do a reccy to the Ace to see how long it takes - I think its about 2 hours from me...

Cheers everyone

Edit - Got to be the easiest 120 miles to remember ever - wont do my back tyre any favours though....

http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&...nG=Search+Maps

Although it would be a good way to finish off a pair of tyres... hmm...

Hmm didnt realise it was quite that far - tho whats the distance from the A14/A1M junction you were talking about meeting up at - only measure the detour

Better option than that junction if you dont (understandably) want to come into London, would be the 1st services north of there.

That way you dont have to sit in the cold at the side of the road while we are running late due to Spiderman needing to go empty his webshooters :P

I would roughly guess its about 100+ miles extra, all on motorways too - so maybe not the best idea - here is a rough idea of the place I was thinking of and coming to the Ace...
