God it looks awful. why do people want to ruin the looks of a perfectly acceptable bike with such tacky additions.

Come on closet nova/corsa drivers. why do you chav up your bikes with tacky bits.
Tim, be warned. Verna has Rim tape on her bike!!! Her choice

Chrome/Stainless and Black all round

The people on garishly painted bikes and perfectly matching leathers with all the accessories just make me think "what a fasion queen."

And carbon, Carbon fibre composites, are a very lightweight and strong material, obviously useful in such compenents needing to maintain integrity without a high weight penalty.
But when applied elsewhere, for cosmetic purposes, they serve another important purpose: They make you look a tit.

Quiff, I just went to the Photo's section to get another look at your bike.

Now, see, your's looks OK. The one at Thundersrpint that had bright orange rim tape (pretty much identical to your bike - minus headlight covers & orange rim tape instead of blue) was just wrong.

I was worried for a min that me & my pillion might of been stood taking the mickey out of you as the bike pulled up opposite the council offices, but alas, wasn't you

Take no notice of them. Quiff.............as long as you love your bike who cares what anyone else thinks.

And wouldn't life be boring if we all rode round on stock SV's?

So, what do you ride?

A bike that is stock, unpainted and weighs alot, all whilst wearing mismatching leathers. Nice! (BTW This is not meant to be an insult, just observation)

Apparently white tyre marker is chavvy I'm going to throw my bike in the bin.

Iaonofbhills has yellow rim tape on his blue pointy, it looks ace IMO... Shouldn't do though!

Lawson17

As I said in my previous post "black and chrome/stainless" is my preference.

Black 02 curvy, has a set of twin headlights on it, going to add a fuel stainless slipon soon.

Weight is stock, would probably add carbon components if i pushed hard enough to worry about the weight of it, but wouldn't bother with carbon tank pads or any 'bling' like that.

I wear whatever works but black belstaff gear is my er 'sunday best'

I wasn't having a dig at anyone in particular, mainly the type who have the R1, yamaha racing leathers, matching gloves, boots, socks....

But, each to their own, doesn't stop me having a giggle though...
