So here is the response I have had from Westminster.

They answered one of the questions I asked: is the permit transferrable?

The coverage on the news showed the hassle that people had paying for this.

Whats the score if you dont have a mobile phone?

2 things!

1) Who the hell has an electric motorcycle?
2) why is it free to park it?
a) Its probably going to be the same size as a normal motorcycle
b) it will use the same securtiy measures as a normal motorcycle
c) this then equates to another pollution tax and is discrimitory(sp?)

Its all cr@p.

damned if you do, damned if you dont.
congestion charge introduced. people get bikes to avoid it, congestion charge is therfore working... so what do you do? penalise people that are helping to fulfil the overall goal.

I love this country i really do! wtf!

time to start copying plates i say! And dont no-one go copying mine as i have enough trouble with those cretins as it is dont you know.

Well maybe we should all start parking on the pavments next to bike bays with cloned plates on and hopefully they will get the message that its civil disobedience and not just lazy parking.... but that would involve the peeps on the ground having something resembling intelligence.

Then we could also speed and wheelie everywhere we go with these plates securely (not with velcro) attached.
