Hello folks. Just back from my mini Harley tour in the States. Rode an Electra Glide 1600 miles round the desert in 7 days with everything but the kitchen sink stuffed into the luggage including ALL the missus' toiletries and make up. Stopped to get aherm....cough... cough... the brake lever repaired at a dealership and went straight to sit on a night rod. Felt lovely after riding the beast. Tiny and light, like a little toy! Reckon it'd feel funny for a while going round corners with feet forward!

I'd love one in my collection if I was minted. But I'm not. I'd still have a sporty little number too though.

Sod not being in the right bike gang. I don't ride my bike for anyone but me! That fella who sold his because he was getting the cold shoulder must be mental. There will always be go faster morons or rich accountant morons (UK's Harley crowd-he he he) who think they're the mutts nuts. I hate these people.

Tell ya what, I'd definately have a Buell if they were a bit more my size, cheaper and practical. (Not meant to open a tin of worms so don't).

I am short shifting at the moment as i am running it in and its still easily quicker than an SV.

Its also such a nice all round bike to ride. I was previously of the opinion that it made sense to have an SV or something similar to start with, but the R6 has blown all that out of the water. Everything is better....brakes, suspension and fuel consumption has been good so far(probably because im operating mostly at low revs). Apart from the obvious higher costs to buy/insure i cant honestly see why it wouldn't make a good first bike!
SO GO AND JOIN R6.ORG OR SUMMING OR NUFFINK!!
