Hey guys is there any chance of getting a newbie ride out before the worst of bad weather hits us? I really think it would be useful to pick up some tips from the more experinced espically what happened to me today.......

It would also be alot of fun so can we do it please!! thanks

Went past your gaff the other day, on way back from Quatford (Don't ask how lol)

So have we got any further with this. I wanna be TEC So i can view scenery

IMO - Possibly the best area would be MIGTs territory as its somewhere in the middle of the country, i say that because we got people from all areas have replied. If there are newbies who know no-one from here, meet up in local area go for a coffee and a chat and come over for a ride with them. I didnt even do that for the AR but met a great bunch of blokes who were good to ride with on way over to camp on the Friday and still speak to all of them and even sometimes ride.

Let me know thoughts

P.S. I ent organising If the MIGTs idea is welcomed then someone from MIGTs could do a route possibly so we can make this a goer and sort dates.

Thumbs up Re: New Bikers Rideout ??

I'd be interested in this in the SE - but I'm a big newbie, having only passed my test last week.

The only problem is not having a bike yet. Soon to be sorted though, but not definite . I think I might be just a day away from an SV650K4 in blue, if the stars line up.....

My vote's in.

This thread has now been going so long that I am starting to shake off the tag of "newbie rider*".

Is anything going to come of this?

Jon

*That is not to say that I think that I am too experienced or a great rider, but I have been on numerous group rides so have already starting picking up the basics of group riding etc.

Right give me till tomorrow, i'll try and get the ball rolling with a couple of peoples. Only prob is to base it somewhere to make it accessable for everyone to get to. I think somewhere like Birmingham, though i have PM'd someone who is a bit further over and up a bit. But would be willing to ride over with other newbies to meet point. Give me till tomorrow.
