Tied one of them. Going fast is way too easy, and it'll go from 30-150 in top, which is a bit (dare I say it) boring ?

You have to work the VFR a bit more, and it certainly goes round tight corners better than the 'Bird... In fact, if I were to go for a super-tourer, it would be a 'Busa, but that's not what I'm looking for (at least I don't think it is..).

I'm sure you're not ignoring me really and that you've considered a Multistrada and discounted it as not suitable for the intended user, only you're too polite to say so

Something else about the VFR I forgot to mention, the lights are awesome! Riding at night is no longer a scary thing. Main beam lights up a half mile straight. H7 bulbs so lights are bright without needing to go for 'super' bulbs. (although +80% ones would be amazing). The only problem with such good lights is that the parts of the road not illuminated now appear VERY dark indeed, which makes cornering at any kind of speed a little scary.

Having been pillion on the back of a Triumph triple (new shape)...it's actually an okay ride (but not so good on the knees...if you have long legs, so not the best for long distance)

No !

Actually, it's a pretty tall bike, seat height is 850mm,, that's way too tall for me to be comfortable two up. VFR is just 805, Fazer is 815, Tiger is 815 (with lowered seat) and the Street Triple is just 800mm.

Also, I have standards, and I couldn't be seen on something that ugly!
