Aaah... you boys are too kind. Missed seeing you both. It was nice to be back after my extended (but profitable) absence. I wasn't even cold. Hope you're both mending well. May have to come and visit you if you're still going to be immobile for much longer.

Please allow me to offer my humbelest apologies - Although I was in Soho on Friday, for some reason I never bumped into you guys. I was in The Three Greyhounds, Bar Soho, Molly Mogs and a couple of others - inbetween the various venues I flitted back and Forth eventually staggering back and forth and sideways via the Vegan Thai outlet around the corner from Nero's, which was nice. All this was between about 5 pm and 7.30pm. I had an interesting shirt on (Ben Sherman yellow submarine design) and a Black paisley design bandana pirate stylee on me puddled head. But there was no-one there...so I went on back to Wetherspoons at Marble Arch for about three hours where I was forced to consume some more of London's finest. Around 11ish that same evening, I then ventured down to Soho again in the company of someone who had never been there before so I was showing him the sights. As I was practically blind by now, I am unable to recall the name of the club in which we found ourselves although I refall it befan with an F as I had an F on my hand, there were also two poles downstairs - no, not the ones from eastern europe, but the ones that stretch from the floor to the ceiling. And yes... I did find myself dancing around one of them at least thrice!!

I was indeed bladdered beyond all reason. I gave up the ghost at around 2.30am. I love London.

Went to see Les Mis on Saturday with my mum - fortunately I had access to the wonder drug brufen so was able to enjoy the show and pre show dinner at Rowley's in Piccadilly - both were superb.

Sunday - small parade at Victoria Embankment...then it was really really hard work - in full uniform - 'working' our way back to digs at Marble Arch via...
Covent Garden - Punch & Judy, Fuel, some other pub
Leicester Square - Moon over the water (I think)
somewhere en route - can't remeber the name
Soho Three Greyhounds and somewhere else
AND then me and three other blokes were taken hostage, still in uniform, by two ladies who entertained us in what I thought was 'The Pink Lady' but according to my credit card was 'The Candy Bar'. Those of you who know the area will of course be aware of who frequents this particularly wonderful venue. They bought most of the drinks...no really, they did, and there were lots. We giggled for about two hours.
Then we went to a club in Piccadilly - which was nice. And that was it really.

I ought to mention that my mum had already gone home about 12 hours earlier.

But I love London - it's great. Landlord of the Punch & Judy is a bit of a miserable bloke but I guess it's just the job.

Sp apologies again - I wll try harder - perhaps I should have asked "What time will you be there?"

London. It's fun.

For the record that Thai place you at at was a five minute walk to where we were on soho square and we were about from 6.30ish onwards.

Guess we'll have to wait till next time to hear the GARrrrrrr etc in person then.
