great pictures there trev, a point to note on the red kite, is that they have been so successful they're now over me in Watford, but they're also becoming a bit of a pest again unfortunately when it comes to livestock . however thankfully they are protected these days and can't be killed as pests anymore.

Kites are pretty rubbish hunters as they have short talons and comparatively small beak so they might go for the odd bunny or small fowl but nothing much else. There are however so many now that there may not be enough roadkill to go around so they're diversifying. Still wonderful to watch.
So come on everyone -who wants the camera next?
