Even they only found it out by accident.

Even now the messages being given out are so confused. Our diesel is zero tax. The petrol version is £180 per year, the same that our 13 year old previous diesel was.

I should have put "dirty petrol" in inverted commas in my original post. I don't believe it is and understand all the other issues with diesel particulates etc. I was referring to the way Bristol council is portraying them by restricting their access to the CAZ (Clean air zone) but allowing our diesel version in. All a bit of a joke and mixed messages for the public too. It all boiled down to us just needing to buy a car we are allowed to use and stupidly that's the diesel. Ideally we'd have a small electric car for city use, but budget, space and the need to transport a family sometimes means we can't.

Are you a felon, and wanted by several intelligence agencies?
Or working for several agencies on a secret assignment and currently deep under cover?

Not being able to share anything, must be hard.

Yep, come on, you could maybe share with us a few things. Do you have a bike, what brought you to the forum, where in the world are you? Maybe we could get a proper conversation going with you then.....

I spent all weekend outside weeding the garden, digging (homemade) compost into the veg plots and washing the cars. Even though the cars hardly move these days they need washing thanks to the number of muppets with wood burners around the estate which stink the area out and leave ash deposits everywhere. Whenever people blindly repeat the rubbish from the sales blurb about this not being the case I smile at them and say rude words under my breath. At least I'm more active again now its lighter and less cold.

The DRZ appears to be running (much better).

I also got to work on it in the sunshine today, which makes a change from working on it outside in the snow a few weeks back!
