Re: The running thread.
Another good run this afternoon, busted out 15k.
This time in 2 weeks I will have either completed my first half marathon or I’ll be in hospital lol

Re: The running thread.
Good man DD, powering on with it!
I'm really envious actually as I'm supposed to be running with a bunch of canicrossers on the Breidden Hills tomorrow but once again I'm having to drop out as my sodding car is still off the road. That's two group runs in two weekends I've now had to miss. Not happy. |

Re: The running thread.
Didn't manage to get out at the weekend. The call of the drink was too strong.
Another 2.6 tonight. A bit chilly though! |

Re: The running thread.
Great to see more folks out running, well done people, keep it going!
Out for an early morning, frosty run of 3.56 miles this morning. Just a short one as time is pressing a bit. Great to be out there though. |

Re: The running thread.
Managed 3.8 miles tonight. I swear it felt more like 5 when I was doing it!
What do you guys normally wear to avoid 'friction burns' ? |

Re: The running thread.
Depends on the weather really. If it's cold I wear I wear either Alpkit or Mountain Warehouse running tights, and a fairly tight compression base layer on top with either a long sleeved running shirt or a running t shirt, normally a Karrimor as they are relatively cheap and do the job.

Re: The running thread.
Made it out yesterday for a run around my short loop. 3.7 miles over the allt and through the forest.
Ran with my friend Craig from up the lane who's a little slower than me. Mabel took the slower pace as an excuse to stop and sniff every tuft and bush on the way over the allt! |

Re: The running thread.
Totally lost my running mojo at the moment. That cold was a git. I'm still coughing.
Works mental and I just can't find my way out the door once home. Add constant decorating at the moment, and there's not enough time in the day. I really need to get back out as I'm missing it. |

Re: The running thread.
My ankles are still a bit stiff from Friday. Do you guys do any ankle muscle warm ups? Mine are always a bit wooden when I start
