Re: The venue.
The two I know are EAR deffo. I know more on the other side of the M1 so no use really. Few decent opportunities for KD on a lot of sweeping bends, quite a few quick roads too.

Re: The venue.
6 hours odd for me, though I guess I can add an hour on as the M25 on a Friday evening is gonna be a killer!!!

Re: The venue.
Why's that too far? 194miles 5-6 hours. Sounds about right for a rideout.

For the AR08 rideout we had 80 bikes, of mixed ability and experience, we you get a big group like that you end up very spread out over the roads, even simple stuff like getting fuel and food becomes complicated. You need to factor this kind of stuff in. Remember the AR rideout is a slow gentle paced ride to take in local sights and scenary and its much more of a social ride than a fast knee scraping, hooligan ride. Even a simple fuel stop you can use up 30 - 45 minutes without even realising it. It'll be easier IMHO to keep the distance down to 120 miles or an SV tankful.

Re: The venue.
So skips route may suit our needs better. A coastal route might be nice too if someone knows a good route.
