It must be a quantity issue?
£8 for a pint?! how much for the chop?
We'll get it sorted...wonder if I can fit my tent and sleeping bag in my US20.......unlikely me thinks. Grr I hate using bungee straps I got some massive marks in my new back plastics on the hardybikers.
Might need some .org stickers actually ... infact ,talking of, I bet you could shift loads on the AR

Aye and it'd be easier that posting them out seeing as our local sorting office constantly puts our post through the shredder before returning it to us with an "oops we did it again, we fecked with your mail, and you can complain, but we think you're gay, la laa la laa la" (to the tune of britney spears)....

I'm thinking along similar lines dave, I completely buggered the tank on my 650 with a bungee strap - went through the paint right down to bare metal! It's NOT going to happen with the thou, hence the idea of a courier. Our clients on conferences regularly have all their stuff couriered to the venue in plastic crates, so we could do something similar with tents/sleeping bags for quite a few of us if we get a plan together only problem would be if any of it went missing lol, sleeping under the stars

grr royal mail

Yeah, not sure if I'd wanna risk it though Perfect excuse to huddle up with wideboy or soemone though
I can see why you wouldn't wanna feck your anniversary paintwork too. Think I might have to use bungees but just wrap them in old innertube and put tape or something wherever it's likely to rub.

Your best bet, is just to get yourselves down there with your camping gear, then pitch up and sort yourselves out with a bit of a stretch. I'm sure somebody can point you in the direction of a local supermarket for your alco beverages!
We've never taken the beers with us when we've been to rallies or ARs etc. Better not to worry about the extra weight you'll be carrying.

Just a tip....thats all

Just to put it in perspective, Matts ridden down South with me on the back of Suzy before, with a full set of panniers, full tank bag, two sleeping bags, a ten kilo 4 man tent and stuff. It is possible, but if your not used to the weight it can be a little wobbly ...lol

S'alright I've had big fat blokes on the back as pillion, a tent and a sleeping bag shouldn't be too bad
