Polishing's a disease. Unfortunately it's a disease that can only be cured by more polishing. But on the plus side, once you polish a part you have to do it again, and again, and again, so you'll never run out
If you like shiny, and you have a bit of a budget, aerocoat's chrome powdercoat is pretty fantastic.

nope, polishing the rims, i have them on the other bike and i prefer them. Its actually easier to polish them every wash, the muck doesn't look too bad when it covers them, I think painted wheels look worse when they're mucky.
