Good man, braver than me lol - it took so much out of me trying to very the speed all the time, etc, that I couldn't do it all in one week (not with work, anyway!). As an example I would do a 7 hr day and do around 200-210 miles (it's the speeding up/slowing down that does it). That was tough - but doable in a week if you can do that 3 times? Btw, got any pics of the new ride?

+1

I pity anyone who buys a new bike, it's going to cost a sodding fortune to no purpose.

not really, given the price for mine was 5500 OTR, 2K for the SV, i only had to put down 3.5K in cash, so even in a few years i can recoup the 3.5K i put down on it.

I have done 120 today and will do a couple of rides in the evenings this week probably down to bassets pole seen as i need to do some distance, then I have the morning of the day I'm booked in if I have striggled to get the mileage up by then, should manage it easy enough........ what really is a killer is that at 7 - 7.5 krpm you can feel/hear its only just about to pick up big time its hard resiting but I ran the sv in properly and it served me very well so I'm going to do the same with this.

I'm picking mine up new on Friday. I want to get 500 in 2 weeks, I think i'll use it to commute from hotel to work when i'm up in Northwich, should put the miles on, and some fun country roads! Not looking forward to 60 miles on the M6 tuesday morning though :/
