The theoretical speed, taking into account gearing, friction, wind resistance etc, you'll be lucky to hit 120mph real speed!

225 km/h or near enough to 140mph, corrected. Yes, this was on a racetrack and no, the bike is not stock.

Billy , your rev needle is also at the bottom stop point too , bike on paddock stand revving it ? or one of those recall devices that show your top speed ?

I've had 138 with a little bit left to go, ran out of private runway.

tbh its nice not to know the top speed of a bike so that when you want to go faster on track of course you get a little surprise when it still keeps on going.... Shouldnt do these sorts of speeds on public roads your just asking to be banned lol!

144.4 on a flat strip. thats with an aftermarket speedo. not the origional bullsh1t clocks. not sure on a down slope. not standard either, lightened and tuned.

That's right...
obviously I'm running the non-standard 30 tooth rear sprocket too... rubbish on acceleration, but gets up to speed eventually. ![]()

To be honest, unless you were able to calibrate your speedo on the particular circumference of the tyre you were using (as well as accounting for speed distortion)... one speedo will be pretty much as rubbish as the next - certainly on a pointy anyway.
