Paint's all ****ed... It was never brilliant, but now it's cracked, chipped, bubbled, melted, faded, scratched and worn through. Not all in the same place at least. other than that it's in good order. Oh, and the right rear indicator sometimes doesn't work, but I can't find the fault. It's not like I turn right often.

I have just replaced the complete wiring loom. Whilst soldering up the indicators my right indicators stopped working. Now no matter what I did to try and get them to work they wouldn't. In the end I got the old meter out and started buzzing every thing. I found out there was actually a break in the wire from the switch unit down to the wire I was trying to solder. I swapped out this wire, re-soldered at the switch and now it works fine. How this wire managed to break I'll never know, as I could see no physical damage, but broke it was. Could be the same thing. Hey I said it was a long shot. |

Re: What problems are you ignoring.
Well, part of the reason I've not found the fault is that I've mainly just wiggled some wires and hit it But it's probably just a crap Northwind solder joint.

Apparently I have been ignoring tyre wear (oops). My Front wore out in scotland. Damn sure it had 2-3mm of tread before setting off.

Re: What problems are you ignoring.
I'd go for theft. Those Scottish people will nick anything. Have you reported it? The stealing of tyre tread is a regular occurrence and is on the increase. I've been a victim of it myself too. Only last week I was a victim of it. They tried to be sneaky and only stole the tread in the middle part of the tyre, but I noticed and reported it to the Police. Still waiting a response. They told me they would be sending a letter which I would need to respond to.
