I really like that paint job,
I eas thinking of getting some stripes put on my naked.
Can you confirm if the stripes are painted on or decals and are they lacqured over.

No need to buy a thou to fit R+G fork sliders.... you can do it and still have a bike that handles

Simply fit a GSXR front end...

I really must do this to my bike at some point, and fit an Ohlins shock.

The stripes are all airbrushed on and the decals are vinyl - everything was then laqured over

As me missus loves it on the back of the bike i didnt want to keep taking it off/putting it back on - hence having the stripes run over it as i knew it would be spending most of its time on the bike ! If it were plain black i think it would detract but as it stands i think it looks really good (even if i say so myself ! )

This should be a happy message - this should be me posting the final pics of my pride and joy fully pimped but instead its me letting everyone know that i was T-Boned off my bike on thursday night !

Apart from a fractured hand and a foot filled with blood I am ok but unfortunately for the bike things are looking a bit more terminal.

Front fairing mashed
Headlight subframe bent
Smashed db screen
Broken Mirror
Smashed Indicators
Front brake res broken
Buckled Radiator
Broken Horn
Dented and scratched tank
Gilles Rearsets - both sides snapped off levers and footpegs
Engine casing (magneto side) smashed
2 day old Carbon Fibre exhaust - stuffed
R&G Crash Bobbins (both sides) sheered off the mounting

Guys I was doing about 20mph - being as careful as possible and still got taken out! Please be super vigilant out there as i now have first hand experience of losing a loved one (my bike that is).

I was one sticker away from completing the transformation and now look where i am at ...

I am now waiting to hear what the insurance are gonna do but to me the bike will never be the same - watch this space as i may be selling all the functional bits off!

Cheers
J
