Tight and twisty change, but takes out that boring midway section and some interesting scenery over the Lomond hills. Both that road and the one over the hill from Freuchie to Kennoway can get dodgy in winter, but if you don't have too many newbie riders, then that just presents an interesting challenge and something to talk about when you stop.

Not the best route this time of year guys. On the B9097 to A915 there's mud all over the place and inches deep in places from the fields. I'm using the cage just now.

Nah, been over to see my uncle in Auchmuirbridge plenty times in winter, including last year when I went over under a beautiful clear cold blue sky and back over lying snow (though that might have been in the car)!! Just need to ride according to the conditions! It's perfectly possible, not a road closed to motorbikes situation.

Well folks the votings done and its Saturday 6th December.

Looking at grants route i bow to the fifers superior knowledge, Stuartyboy and Blue flame can hammer out the details detween them. Either way it looks like 90ish minutes riding, so 2 hours including gathering and fag stops.

Therefore I'd suggest a meeting time of 10:30 at Kinross Services and Leaving at 11:00, That will have as scooping icecream at 13:00 and would allow a departure from St Andrews of 14:00 (after photos etc)

This should be early enough for those with other commitments to get home without burning through too many brownie points and also allow those that fancy it time to do a post cream run before it gets too dark.

The voting thread has now morphed into an Attendees list so please add your name there and where you stay (roughly) so we can organise pre kinross meeting points etc.

I'm sure i'll be corrected but think the easties tend to meet at the maybury services or the McDonalds at the bridge in s. queensferry.

Westies homebase off the shotts bypass?? or you're more than welcome to meet at mine (denny) i might even manage some lorne rolls (Tiger55 )

Inbetweeners, my place or pirnhall services.

Spearies??? no idea but very welcome

The sooner we know who's going and from where the sooner we can get organised..

Stuarty and Blue f, could you please finalise the route with your collective knowledge, and can the birminghamers keep their neb oot

Usual rules apply, all welcome, newbies or vetrans, solo or pillioned, even hondas, It will be cold, might be slippy in patches but hopefully dry and definately good fun.
