Ive been thinking of getting shut of mine recently, Im struggling with confidence on it and havent ridden it since oct, plus I have a sneaking suspicion of redundancies at work next year, in fact the bike was bought for pleasure and as such I never saw myself as a hardcore biker who couldnt survive without me bike. One of the reasons Ive kept me bike for so long was cos Ive enjoyed the company of so many of you off here over the last couple of years and the thought of getting out on the roads with you lot next year is actually the only thing keeping me from selling her, anyway, lets see what the new year brings.
Ride safe and have a good christmas and a safe new year

Stewie you've bought the wrong bike. You should've got a speed four, similar idea but comfy.

went out for an hour without worrying about weather or a credit crunch for the first time in ages - not even licence losing speeds were enough to get me buzzing. I did enjoy a bit of filtering but I think that might be because of how miserable all the queueing car drivers looked...

I think I've just got so used to assuming that the weather will be so bad and that I won't have any free time when the weather is actually ok, I've just stopped thinking about when I can next get out on the bike.

Just putting my leathers on felt wierd but I did have a good thrash. I think when the weather's good I'll be back to my old self. I don't wanna lose touch with everyone from here either - there's some really nice people (and there's YC as well) I've met - same as stewie says really...

Paul you big poof, I got one bike that don't work, all the gear and no idea and one that looks like frankenpoofs monster with all the gaffer tape over the fairing that i hate....SELLLLLLLLLLL.......never.

Now get over it, before i pinch your maxton springs when YC does some work on mine in the new year

The first winter after I started riding i thought exactly the same, no real confidence, not really using it, money could be better spent else where.

Now everytime I open the garage I smile and oculd never do without.

I even said to kerry if everything went tits up and I lost my job (people are being made redundant left right and centre at my work right now ) I would be devastated and feel like a failure.....I would probably get as much cash together from my saving and get on the bike head off to europe and not come back.
