Idle Banter For non SV and non bike related chat (and the odd bit of humour - but if any post isn't suitable it'll get deleted real quick).
There's also a "U" rating so please respect this. Newbies can also say "hello" here too.

To be honest i don't think i've heard many standard cans which sound anything other than average, i'd have to fit an aftermarket one straight away, but new bikes are a way away at the mo ^.^
Have you decided which aftermarket can you are going to fit?

Well it's already got a scorpion one which sounds okaaaay, (only heard it in the showroom) i'm gonna ride it about and see what it sounds like.
I've been looking through ride magazine and all over these forums for alternatives though. It's not a top priority
Have you got a recommendation?

Mmm, don't really like the look though.
It's not about loud really, it's just the noise it makes.
Great thing about bikes in my opinion is you don't have to worry about looking like a **** in a corsa sounding like an Aston V8, so there's a huge range to choose from.

With my limited knowledge, I think you're fine with what you have. The sound of the Scorpion is definitely better than the standard . As you say changing it is not a top priority at the moment, just enjoy your bike when you get it
