Well went to a&e, only had to wait an hour... chap did some eye tests shone lots of lights into my eyes. He then said he was going to talk to his colleagues about it. Meanwhile I was told to stay put. They were having a huge shuffle around and then someone else wanted the room I was in so I was asked to move my chair back and a curtain was drawn in front of me...how rude lol. Was amusing watching the doctor trying to peer round the curtain and find me though
![]() The 2 docs told me to lie down and shone yet more lights into my eyes and then tried to turn my eyelid inside out to have a looksee under it. Well my poor eye was having a rough time by this point and was slightly fed up of being poked and prodded so I had to turn it inside out instead. After much umming and arrring a little white spot was found, apparently just like a normal spot but in the inside of my upper lid! Told to wait 48 hours to see if it clears up and come back if not. What I don't get: how come something definitely landed in my eye while I was on the fields and now I have a spot. I asked if it was possible I had something in it which had caused the spot but they don't think so. Bizarre! So basically I have to grin and bear the irritation. I can see fine so that's ok, as long as it doesn't go sore and watery like last night ![]() |

Ouch...that made my eyes water reading that. I can't bear anyone jabbing my eyes or touching them so you're one brave lady for letting them do that, lol. Fingers crossed it clears up soon ![]() |

Possibly whatever went into your eye broke the skin enough for a little infection....the spot) and made its way out without you even noticing???
Glad you at least know what it is now and hope it does clear up so you haven't got to go back and be poked and prodded again! |
