While you lot were cavorting on here, I got me shock fitted! Dropped the link plates out then the shock, got rid of the hydraulic pre-load adjuster and viola! Cleaned and greased up all the linkage bearings, then fitted the maxton shock. Took some photos after....

The cause of so much grief!



And one of the reasons for needing better suspendies.... Running out of ground clearance

I took the opportunity to clean the fairing panels and hugger while they are off... Lissa would be proud, washing my bike indoors!

LOL was quite impressed when I saw it. NW4 two up with Claire, big downhill righthand sweeper on A44 The only time I had to hang off to make it round (but don't tell Claire! ) She either did not notice or just kept calm and rode with it

Impressive! I can't say I was too keen when Dad got his VFR, but I do quite like it now. At first I found it strange to be comfortable on a bike.


I haven't reached the edge yet either But at least I trust the storms to take me as far over as I'd like, which I can't say about the original SV tyres or the pirelli diablos I had on..
