That believe it or not, is the simple part.... you CHOOSE TO BE THE WAY YoU WANT TO BE.... as silly as that might sound, thats all there is to it. No more no less....no magic tricks, no deep answers.... we are all exactly the way we choose to be. And if we dont like how we are, we have the simple ability to chose to be different. Its not necessarily easy, but it is SIMPLE. It is as easy or as complex as we make it to be for ourselves.

To be fair i've had a few relationships that didn't even start due to this crap, but that was mainly friends. I spoke to someone and all of a sudden my friends knew more about it than i did.

Anyway, point is... ish... that if this guy is right for you then it's your decision and nobody can talk you out of it O.O unless they can pin rape or murder on him. ^.^

Oh and as for ppl getting in the way...
My step-mother(ish???)'s daughter's boyfriend was discounted by everyone who said he wasn't right for her and they've been together over a yr so far , guess it's just down to how you take the 'advice'. Listen and ignore?

Firm advice, but very true.

Sticks and stone may break your bones but names will never hurt you and if the pleb is taking about you they are leaving somebody else alone.If this is the best they can do for entertainment I feel sorry for them.

I feel that most people, not all, have totally missed my whole point in the thread. Oh well.

If you wish your live to be personal and private don't discuss it with other people or on the internet,surely that is the easiest answer.Alternatively are you upset that who you thought was a close confedant or friend has betrayed your trust? I don't understand your problem regarding privacy as you have come on here willing to share but object to family knowing???????????????????????????????/
