sorry I've read it through but cant see it covered anywhere so thought I'd just ask.
I thought the point of hosting it as an AT was for those who can only make 1 a year know when to be saving thier pennies for.
No restrictions against organising other days out regionally as we do with rideouts. But making just one AT each year, and I agree Organised by the regional sections and alphabetically seems fair enough.

Border Patrol
East Anglian
Ecosse
Essex
Madlanders
Pennine
South West

If for any reason a regional section cant pick an organiser by what ever date, Jan 1st etc then it moves onto the next Region.

By coincidence if you look at the regional list then bounces it north to south as well.

this all sounds a bit formal to me to be honest. think I'ld just prefer that people mention where/when they are going and I'll choose to attend or not depending on funds.

I'll be honest and say if there was a trackday in Scotland i dont think i'd be tempted to go to it. I'd rather just spend a weekend in Scotland with other Orgers as a nice weekend away. Its a long way to go to do a trackday, even if we all go for a weekend whcih would be the only sensible way to do it of course. i just think if i went all that way i'd rather spend time seeing Scotland's beautifull scenery that be riding round and round a track.

How about just putting up a pole. People have one vote, then the winner is where the first AT is held.

If it becomes an annual event, then for the next years pole the current winner is not included to avoid repetition. Or you could include it all the time, and just let democracy decide. That way if the org's consensus is to do Brands year in year out, then so be it.

I think a simple pole near the end of this year to decide for 2010 would suffice. Simple enough aswell.

Binky for Prime Minister.
Wasnt until Flymo said it that I thought about it but he's right, too much hassle keep it simple. Whats simpler than what Binky suggested?

I think it'd be far too much for me to ride, i'd get a flight up there. I'd stil be there though

If there was one in Scotland I'd go, and combine it with a weekend trip with .orgers! Maybe get a Friday or Monday track day, and then a bit of a rideout on the weekend portion of the trip, etc.

Imagine doing a Law that far away from home tho and on the Friday of a long weekend away. it'd kind ruin the rest of the weekend away wouldnt it? this is why i said if i was gonna go all that way i'd rather just have a great weekend away with a bunch or org-ans without the added 'risk' of a trackday.

i agree wit the boys above too, as i said before as well, amybe this just cant be organised and has to just happen.

Yeah I know what you mean, but to me there isn't really that much of a difference being on track - I could come off on a normal weekend and wreck the bike too - or if on track, I could run off somewhere with enough space to stop, etc. I think (re: organisation) that maybe it's difficult cos of the commitment required. Most other rideouts you could choose right up to the day whether you were going to come or not - here, you can't. And it's a wedge of dosh to commit with, as well...
