Hello and welcome to the site from another Newbie.
So, am I allowed to use the word 'feck', maybe the subject has been thrashed to death but I thought I would give an Irish opinion (may have had one already, but can't tell). Anyhoo - 'feck' is not the Irish for 'f*ck', the 2 are very different words, with very different usages. Best explanation I have heard is from a colleague from Dublin: 'I would call me ma a 'feckin eejit' but I would ever call her a 'f*cking idiot''. Here's hoping I haven't offended the mods.... |
