When I discovered the back tyre on the wrong way round on my sv the dealer I bought it off asked me to take it to the afore mentioned. Afterwards besides my scottoiler tube missing I discovered a slightly bent rear rim. I cant be 100% sure it was down to them but the young lad that did the job clearly couldnt give two hoots.

Ive not been in for over a year now but on the other hand the girl in the bikegear section in the store is very helpful and pleasant and goes out of her way to help...so its not all bad.

Gotta join in... I've been there once when there was a special offer on tyres. My speedo became intermittent immediately afterwards. I got it fixed elsewhere.

Nice big showroom tho

there's always going to be good and bad and you can't please alll the people all the time, probably like alot of forums the pleased punters don't post their experience.

Just to let you guys know, the BikeGear Shop bit has moved out of Jordan Bikes and has gone into a large unit just across the road at no 3 Overland Park, the girls are still there!

With all these negative reviews I just wanted to chime in on the other side of the fence and say I've never had a bad experience with them.

I got my bike from them and the two problems I've had with it, loose swing arm, gear shift lever abandoning ship (slightly exciting when you're filtering through traffic) they've fixed under warranty with no hassles.

On both occasions and when it went in for a service earlier this month the staff have been polite and friendly.

When were you last in Dave? They had a pretty big gear section in a couple of weeks ago. Are you sure the place over the road isn't a new shop - I know where you're talking about, didn't have chance to nip in though.

I am sure they have moved, it was Debbie I spoke to. Bike Gear was the store inside Jordans and all the brands they stocked have moved over the road. Or I thought they had lol! I will check to make sure next time I am in just in case something has changed. I know there is an open day planned on the 16th of March I will ask then as I hope to get down there.
