God no. This is Preston. Don't go talking to anyone, they will think you weird. Don't you know that Prestonians only ever talk to themselves. Infact a true Prestonian can even have an argument with himself and get so angry that he will kick his own head in.

I reserve the right to point out that despite being born in Preston. No way am I a Prestonian. My parents were from different counties. not related and had been married for 2 years prior to my birth.

i know how you feel, I've "outgrown" (so to speak) most of my friends, outside of the org i have 4 close friends, one rides but one of us is always busy when the other wants to go out on bikes (or doesn't have one working ) and the other 2 are into different things..... but we all share the same hobby of model flying so we see each other pretty much every weekend maybe the odd weekday.

this place is great, met some wicked people and made some real good friends... and some special friends!! (you know who you are!! ), people always say you shouldn't meet people off the interwebs but i soon realised i wouldn't exactly be easy to kidnap so i took the plunge..... now none of you can get rid of me

Does anyone else ever feel lonely? I must admit to having very few friends, and the ones i have now tend to live around various parts of the country so really only see them a few times a year, i am married but my wife is also in a similar situation of moving up here not long before she met me & so being in a similar situation.

I must admit to feeling rather jelous when i see groups of mates just having fun together, does anyone have any good advice on how to make friends or meet like minded people? no matter how hard i try i never seem to manage it.

Cheers
Likewise i also suffer from bad attacks of the lonely's most days and in one way your lucky you have a wife/partner to share time with as i dont have either and suffer from anxiety quite badly which does get in the way of friendships/relationships but i do enjoy the chat and banter on this forum and im slowly getting to grips with my sv so i can hopfully meetup with a few eventually.
